CAR PARKING
• Members are requested not to park their cars inside the Club
and leave the club premises.
• Cars are not allowed to be parked inside the Club without
a 'Club Sticker.
• Chauffeur-driven cars will not be allowed to be parked inside
the Club on Sunday mornings, and on other days after 6 P.M.
in the Winter Season, i.e. from October to March.
CELL PHONE - RESTRICTION ON
USING
Members are once again requested not to use Cellular Phones
except on the Ground Floor South Verandah and
on the First Floor South Verandah
CHILDREN - ENTRY OF
Certain Restrictions
Children below 18 years will not be permitted to enter the
Club House except as follows:-
• On Thursday evenings, children (not below 8 years) are permitted
in the Club for dinner, but their presence is restricted to the Centenary Hall,
South Verandah (ground floor) and the Dining Room.
• On Sundays, children (not below 8 years) are permitted both for
lunch and dinner, but their presence is restricted to South Verandah
(ground floor), Lawns, Centenary Hall (only in the evenings) and the Dining
Room.
• On all other days, except for Fridays , children (not below 8 years) are
allowed
in the Centenary Hall, South Verandah (ground floor), Lawns and the
Dining Room (only for lunch) up to 6-30 pm.
• The Swimming Pool, in accordance with the rules and by-laws of the Swimming
Pool. Entrance from Gokhale Road.
• On the occasion of children's party, the Committee may, however, relax the
rules
in the manner as deemed appropriate.
CLUB MAGAZINE "THE ELITE"
Articles are invited from members of the Club and their families for
the Club magazine "The Elite" to be published towards the end of
the present year. The proposed volume will consist of contributions
relating to members' professional life and experiences, anecdotes
and reminiscences pertaining to them, and also experiences
concerning the performing arts, theatre, film, music, dance
and so on.
Contributions, neatly typewritten, should reach the CEO of the Club
by the 15th of November, 2009.
DRESS CODE
Members are requested to adhere to the
Club's Dress Code which is as follows:
For male Members/guests/children, the following
are not permitted in the precincts of the Club :
• Kurta with Pyjama of any kind
• Kurta with Trousers of any kind
• Shirts with Dhoti
• T-Shirts without collar except for tennis
• Shorts except for tennis and in Men's Dressing Room
• Jeans, Sneaker
• Open chappals except with Dhoti
• Shirts without being buttoned up
Members are required to observe the Club's dress regulations at
all times. They are also required to ensure that their guests abide
by these regulations as well.
LIBRARY
SMART CARD
Smart Cards are ready for delivery. Members who have not yet
taken delivery are requested to collect their Cards from the
Office between 12 Noon to 2 P.M. and 4 P.M. to 8 P.M.
except Sundays and Holidays.
RULES
Attendance
Members, their wives, member's unmarried daughters above 18 and sons between
18 and 21.
