| RE-UNION 2002 | |
| January 29, 30, 31 |
| Invitation Programme |
The Medical College Ex-students' Association, Kolkata |
Dear Alumni,
The Principal, Medical College Bengal, cordially invites all ex-students to the
168th Foundation Day Celebration on Monday 28th January, 2002 at 10 am at
the Reunion Pandal.
The Reunion is going to be held on 29th, 30th and 31st January 2002. The main problem we face is not the paucity of funds but the paucity of our ex-students to attend the Reunion. We are aware that you have a very tight schedule throughout the year. In spite of a hectic schedule you should attend the Reunion to make it a grand success. The Tea Party is going to be held on 29th January, 2002 at 4:30 pm. Please make it convenient to attend in large numbers along with your friends.
An interesting Scientific Programme has been chalked out for your attention - like minimally invasive surgery, Abdominal Tuberculosis, Ischaemic Heart Disease, Infertility and Pyrexia of Unknown Origin. We would be grateful if you kindly attend the Scientific Programme along with your friends.
We would be grateful if you also arrange to send the token Registration Fee of Rs 150 payable by all (annual and life) members except the senior members who have passed MBBS before 1957. Financial constraints leave us with no other alternatives. Please bear with us.
One of the Short Paper Sessions will be a
competitive or Award Session. It is open to
ex-students graduating on or after 1985. Well drafted informative abstracts not
exceeding 300 words must reach this office latest by 5-1-02. Non-competitive
sessions are open to all ex-students. Time allotted is 8 minutes with an
additional 2 minutes for discussion. 35 mm single slide overhead projection will
be available.
The theme for the Re-Union Exhibition is "Evolution of Medical College in the camera of ex-students." You are requested to submit such photographs.
Those who are interested to participate in evening Drama
and other cultural activities, please contact our office. Last but not least,
please follow the Election and Programme schedule.
