Dear Dr. Bala & Team,
Thank you for your invitation to participate in this interesting
workshop. There was a good interaction with other faculty and
delegates and I am sure the attendees picked up some important
tips and tricks in CTEV management.
Thank you also for the excellent hospitality shown to me during
my stay at Kolkata. I am especially grateful to Mr. Bhattacharya
and the team at BORRC for the excellent dinner & conversation.

Tips & Tricks of CTEV
Surgery

Dear Members ,
I am pleased and privileged for the responsibility entrusted on me by
the executive members of the West Bengal Orthopaedic Association to
convene and organize an workshop on CTEV this year too .
This year we have selected the theme as " TIPS AND TRICKS OF CTEV
SURGERY" , a more advance workshop on the same subject CTEV . There will
be one renowned national faculty from outside West Bengal and the rest
are all well established experts in paediatric orthopaedic surgery in
West Bengal . The focus of the workshop will be on the pitfalls and tips
& tricks of common surgical procedures .There will also be a short hands
on workshop on current methodology of UMEX Ilizarov frame construct .
The lectures will be directed to more practical issues relating to CTEV
surgical practice - like when to do , what to do and finally what not to
do and why .
I hope you will be benefited by this workshop . I also request you to
register yourself as delegates at WBOA OFFICE as early as possible.
